The Chorale is a member of GALA, the Gay & Lesbian Association of Choruses. GALA provides resources to help choral organizations across the world. They sponsor a quadrennial conference bringing together thousands of singers from around the world for workshops, concerts, and inspiration.

The Chorale is a recipient of the fund raising efforts of Pride San Antonio, an organization that coordinates and manages an annual Pride Festival and Parade to raise funds for many causes in the greater San Antonio area.
Community Resources:
San Antonio Aids Foundation

The San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF) has a dual mission — to provide compassionate medical care and social services to people with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and to help prevent the spread of HIV through education, counseling and testing.
The San Antonio Steering Committee of the Human Rights Campaign is a diverse volunteer group of individuals working each and every day to bring the mission of HRC to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender and straight-supportive people in this area. By taking part in community events, prides, town hall meetings and partnerships with other organizations, these volunteers are working hard to support HRC’s efforts in the movement for equal rights for LGBT people.

PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons, their families, and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

QSanAntonio is the definitive online window to the San Antonio gay community. They pull together local, state, national, and international news especially significant to the local LGBT community. They provide a forum for organizations to partner and promote local activities. Check it out to learn what is going on in San Antonio, across Texas, and around the world!
